Class started in earnest today, with the majority of courses having their first normal day, establishing the students’ routine of class, independent study and free time at lunch. The whole group then attended our first Masterclass of the summer, Resilience. The Resilience Masterclass is run by young Oxford doctors, who are uniquely qualified to explain how to deal with stress effectively from a medical perspective and due to the rigors of their own study. Post masterclass, we moved to a favourite student haunt, having Noodle Nation for dinner. We then were treated to a performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the beautiful gardens of Wadham College. After a thought provoking day, we headed back to St Thomas’ for free time before curfew.
