Support with Travel and Visas
We understand that arranging international travel at short notice can feel like a significant step.
If you require supporting documentation, we can provide an official visa-support letter once your place is confirmed. We can also talk through arrival dates, travel timings and any practical questions you may have.
We want every family to feel fully supported before their child joins us in Oxford.
New Friendships for Life
While some students come with friends, many join Oxford Scholastica without knowing anyone in advance.
With small classes, attentive staff and students joining us from around the world, friendships form very quickly. Our residential team is there from the moment students arrive to help them settle in, feel included and make the most of their time in Oxford. We also have an online community for students to meet each other before the programme starts.
Students often leave with friendships that last long after the programme has ended.

Dr Kathryn Woodward
Dr Kathryn Woodward is a Rhodes Scholar and DPhil candidate in Primary Health Care at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on health service experiences among refugees in Queensland, Australia. She earned her BMedSci and MD (Distinction, University Medal) from Griffith University and an MSc in Applied Digital Health (Distinction) from Oxford. Kathryn also lectures at Griffith University and serves as Deputy Chair of Canteen, a youth cancer charity.
Debate & Public Speaking
Abhishek Ranjan Datta
Abhishek is a Clarendon and Kingsgate Scholar at Lincoln College, Oxford, reading for a DPhil in International Development. He holds a BA and MA in English Literature from the University of Delhi (First-Class Honours) and an MSc in Modern South Asian Studies (Distinction) from Oxford. His research focuses on youth, education, democracy and development in South Asia.
Psychology & Neuroscience
Dr Alexandra Hibble
Dr Alexandra Hibble holds a BA in Experimental Psychology (First-Class Honours), an MSc in Psychological Research and a DPhil in Experimental Psychology, all from the University of Oxford. Her research centres on perception and consciousness. Alexandra is now a lecturer at Oxford, specialising in Psychology and Study Skills. She loves board games and interesting science podcasts.
Business
Dr Jaskiran Kaur Bhogal
Dr Jaskiran Kaur Bhogal studied Anthropology at the London School of Economics, receiving the prestigious Alfred Gell Scholarship for her doctorate. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and has been recognised for her excellence in teaching, including being named Class Teacher of the Year. She currently collaborates with the Sikh Education Council and is developing her own business.
International Relations, Politics & Leadership
Arushi Sharan
Arushi is a DPhil candidate in International Development at the University of Oxford, supported by the Abdul Raupuh Mustafa Scholarship. She holds an MA in Political Science (Distinction) from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Master’s in Conflict Transformation. She has taught Comparative Politics at Ashoka University and published research on policy and governance.
Computer Science
Daniel Timms
Daniel is a software developer and STEM tutor who studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. He began programming in Matlab and later worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, developing large-scale C++ applications and natural language processing systems. Daniel primarily uses Python and has represented the UK in mental calculation and memory competitions.
Business
Milko Hristov
Milko studied a BSc in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Warwick, graduating with First-Class Honours in Economics. He is now pursuing an MSc in Social Data Science at the University of Oxford. An entrepreneur, he founded two successful tech businesses with international supply chains and won The Warwick Apprentice 2020. Milko also has extensive teaching experience, including mentoring for the National Citizen Service and tutoring at Warning Zone Life Skills Centre.

Dr Rory Marples
Dr Rory Marples is a practising doctor and general surgery specialist at the John Radcliffe Hospital. He is currently completing a Master’s in Digital Health at Lincoln College, Oxford. Originally from Sydney, he has taught medical students in Australia and Oxford. Rory’s interests lie in medicine, technology and humanitarianism, complementing his clinical and academic pursuits.
Engineering
Samantha O'Sullivan
Samantha O'Sullivan is a DPhil candidate in Theoretical Physics at Oxford, with a cum laude A.B. in Physics and African-American Studies from Harvard University. A Rhodes Scholar, she has also received the Milken Scholarship, Herschel Smith Research Fellowship and Presidential Scholarship. Her research applies algorithmic information theory to the evolution of biological systems. Samantha is also involved in outreach and diversity initiatives, mentoring underrepresented youth through EMPower Oxford.
Creative Writing
Sarah Marshall
Sarah was awarded an MSt with Distinction in Classical Languages and Literature by the University of Oxford in 2021. She subsequently taught English and Classics at Wycombe Abbey School, and returned to Oxford in 2023 to pursue a DPhil in Literature. She won the Avril Gilchrist Bruten Award for Creative Writing in 2024 in recognition of her work.
Law
Victoria Hawley
Victoria studied International Relations at Western University in Canada, graduating with Distinction and making the Dean's List. She later completed a Law degree at the University of Liverpool and recently finished a traineeship at the European Court of Human Rights. Victoria also worked as a Career Coach for two years, helping students plan and achieve their career goals.
