Finally a nice sunny day arrived and just in time for our day trip to Windsor and Eton. We watched the changing of the guards in the shadow of the Castle walls before heading into Windsor Castle to explore properly. Windsor Castle is one of the oldest and largest castles still in use anywhere in the world. The Queen still regularly uses it as a residence and St George’s chapel is a fantastic example of the era’s architecture. After exploring the Castle, the students headed into the town of Windsor to find lunch and explore before the Facebook Hunt which led them on a butterfly sticker hunt around the town. We then moved over to Eton College for tours by Housemistress and Dame Kit, and alumnus Jamie. The group then boarded the bus and endured a duet version of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious by Georgia and Henry en route to dinner back in Oxford. The evening was then spent in free-time relaxing or decorating cupcakes.
