Prepare for Your Future in Business
Are you interested in studying Business, or planning a career in the fields of business, economics or entrepreneurship? Do you want to learn more about the field and prepare for your future success?
BizCon 2020 is for curious students at school who want to learn more about business, entrepreneurship and economics. The Conference will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December 2020, and you can choose to join us for one or both days.
Day One (Saturday) focuses on our theme: “Disrupted: How 2020 Will Change Business Forever“. You’ll hear from – and interact with – speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, consultants, economists and more. Our speakers will discuss how the pandemic has forced businesses to pivot, change and adapt, and how to manage uncertainty during this time. You’ll also hear about the silver linings – the opportunities offered by “the new normal” – including hearing from a “digital nomad” who’s now able to work from Bali. We’ll have a “Day in the Life” panel with lots of time for questions, where you can quiz representatives from different corporate careers on what a day in their life is like, how they got to where they are today, and everything they wish they’d know.
Day Two (Sunday) is focused on sharpening your business and analytical skills, and preparing you to apply successfully to Business, Economics and related degrees at university. We’ll also have a session on how to start networking and how to use LinkedIn for your future success, a panel discussion with social entrepreneurs about how business can be a force for good, and a practical consulting exercise, where you can put your skills to the test!
You’ll leave the Conference feeling prepared to apply to top Business or Economics courses, well-informed about contemporary issues in the business sector, and inspired to start your career in the field.
All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance which can be used for future work experience or course applications.

If your child is only attending Day Two, you are still welcome to join us in the evening of Day One for the Parents’ Seminar.
Do you have any scholarship/ bursary places?
Limited scholarship places are available for students who study at our partner schools. If you’re a school and would like to become a partner, email us and we’ll be pleased to get you on board!
