The day started with our students racing off to class, enjoying another packed day of learning. After their class and a chance to finish any homework they had during independent study it was time for everyone to head into Oxford for our back to back masterclasses which were focused on helping students with both career advice and help with university decisions.

This was found to be extremely helpful for our students, with the talks covering topics such as dos and donts at interviews and what to look for in university courses.

After the busy day so far our students grasped the chance to recharge their batteries with some much needed food as everyone headed over to Westgate shopping centre and Gloucester Green for a wide variety of restaurants to dine in! The meals were enjoyed across the board with a variety of food from all over the world being consumed!

Once we got back the houses were split into those that wanted to play games in St George’s and those that wanted to watch a film – for those that chose the latter all enjoyed the Greatest Showman immensely! There was even some singing along! Once the activities were over it was time for an early night for our students and the chance to catch up on some much needed rest after a busy week!
