Challenges:
Tackle Real-World Problem Solving

You’ll take part in a rigorous academic Challenge – an opportunity to stretch yourself, collaborate with peers, and put theory into practice.

Medicine students visit a local hospital to meet and diagnose real patients. Law students take part in a practical Mock Trial Challenge in a court. Business students design, build and pitch an idea for a web-based business.

Whichever course you choose, the Challenge is a powerful opportunity to take your learning beyond the curriculum.

HEROES:
Learn from Role Models
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to “meet your future self” – speaking with inspirational mentors who can share their experiences, advice and insights.
 
As well as your tutor, Head of House, Activities Coordinators and Masterclass leaders, you’ll have a dedicated Hero session. Your Hero is a young professional in your chosen field, who will discuss their university and career journey, explain what a typical day in their life is like and answer all your questions.
 
Open a window to what your life might be like in 15 years’ time and gain the knowledge, skills and experience to get there.
