Wednesday saw an early start for our students as they boarded the coach at 7:30am heading on their journey to Cambridge. The bus was filled with sleepy students as we all tried to rest before our busy day of sightseeing!

Arriving at roughly 10am the students were toured around St John’s College, whose alumni include various princes, saints and prime ministers! The students particularly enjoyed learning more about the history of the college, before finding themselves in the beautiful gardens along the river. The college itself is one of Cambridge’s most picturesque sights with beautiful lush gardens which we all took the opportunity to relax in! Some students had brought along a ball, and some enthusiastic passing games broke out, while others preferred to sit and chat, and simply take in their surroundings.

At the end of our tour the students got the chance to experience the city for themselves with many using their free time to do some adventuring of their own around Cambridge, as well as get a well needed lunch!

After the College tour it was time for the students, who were now punting experts after last week, to enjoy a chauffeured punt tour of the city. This allowed them to observe all the sights Cambridge had to offer from a relaxed position on the river, a trip that was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
