The day began with our students participating in their different classes, heading back for independent study time to finish off any work they had before lunch.
Early on in the afternoon the students the students were provided with some free time, allowing them to either partake in a range of organised activities or to use the opportunity to visit the Oxford attractions they had not previously seen. Many opted to participate in a traditional OSA sporting activity – our football tournament – whereas others travelled to Bicester Village to do some shopping, or marvelled at the historical artefacts in the Ashmolean, the country’s oldest museum.
After all their earlier exploring our students had worked up quite the appetite for their dinner! Everyone gathered together and walked down to the Westgate Centre for the wide variety of restaurants available to them. When everyone’s appetites were satisfied it was time for the Oxford’s Got Talent Show, a unique opportunity for our students to surprise their friends with their hidden talents!
We enjoyed many acts, from singing to group dancing, to an amazing comedy routine from Alex! The show was a highlight of the course for many students and a massively enjoyable evening for all, reminding us just how talented our students are!
