In the early afternoon the students were provided with a choice of activities to partake in – some students chose to go to Bicester Village, a huge designer outlet shopping village, for the opportunity to buy presents for their family and friends; others opted to visit the famous Ashmolean museum with notable displays including everything from Ancient Egyptian mummies, to Guy Fawkes’ lantern; and a third group opted to participate in a football tournament with other students.
After a fun packed afternoon the students regrouped and walked down to Gloucester Green and the Westgate centre for a very enjoyable dinner from their choice of restaurants. Once everyone was happily fed it was time for the OSA’s Got Talent Show where we were happily surprised by the vast range of talents our students showcased.
Overall, the show was a huge success putting on display the amazing talents of our students, Justin amazed us with his piano recital whilst we were all blown away by the Bollywood style dance performance! Samantha’s singing was amongst the best display of the evening, with everyone rising in applause. The evening was amongst one of our favourites of the whole summer school reminding us how talented all our students are.
