Day two of the summer school marked the beginnings of classes with introductory classes for each of the courses on the academy.  In addition to meeting their tutors and getting into the first tasks of the summer school, the students were also treated to a set of unique tours from the Activity Coordinators who have been studying in Oxford. Highlights of the tour included Christ Church College, the Radcliffe Camera and the ‘place where we got thrown in the river after our exams per Oxford tradition’. The students then put their new found local knowledge to the test in a fiercely contested treasure hunt around the streets of Oxford. The day was topped off with a visit to the iconic G & D’s ice cream parlour in St Aldate’s Street.
