Friday again began with classes and independent study for all students – courses were well underway and assignment deadlines were beginning to loom for students. The afternoon was a welcome change of pace for students, as they split into groups for some Masterclasses. The next few hours were spent discussing either job applications, or UK university applications and the UCAS system, for those interested in potentially applying to study in the UK in future.
After dinner the students split into their house groups for some quiet activites, led by our Activities Coordinators. Faris, James O, Calen, James Wu, and Sean staged a Uno tournament. James Wu was the “expert” and ran the game but lost every round! Everyone had a great time though, and really appreciated him being in charge. Other students participated in some arts and crafts, designing masks and other creations, in a whole variety of colours and patterns.
