Sunday began with a brunch banquet in the accommodation before a number of optional afternoon activities. A group of students went shopping in the nearby town of Bicester, while a number settled down with Georgia, Tim and Mohammed to be enthralled by the Great British Bake Off. Yann, Matt, Isaac and Natalie went to go test out the local tennis courts, while a large group of students headed down to the Iffley Sports Ground to play football. Several students showed their class in the football; Jessica top scored with 4 goals, Fawzi finished two beautiful goals against all expectations and Chaitenya showed amazing goal keeping skills to bat away dozens of goals. After everyone returned from their activities or free time, attention turned to the main event of the evening, the International Ball. In a mixture of dashing formal wear and national dress the students boarded a riverboat for the ball and a cruise down the River Thames. After a night of dancing (Henri gets an honourable mention for the most athletic dancing moves) everyone returned to the accommodation and attempted to get to sleep.
