On Wednesday, students faced an early start, with a 7.30am coach to Cambridge. Not a sound was heard until we arrived at 10am, with everyone happily napping in preparation for the day ahead.
Students were treated to a tour of St John’s College – one of the most impressive in the university – and loved seeing the imposing buildings and learning a little more about the history of the college. Once the rain had cleared up they were also able to enjoy a chauffeured punt tour of the city, taking in all the most famous sights and learning some fun facts!
The true spirit of our OSA students was also shown this evening, when a broken down bus caused a long delay for some. After a tasty dinner in Cambridge, they kept each other entertained by dancing and singing, and teaching each other games from their home countries. Thankfully they were soon rescued by another coach, but we are immensely proud of the good humour and friendship that was shown by everyone!
